An illustration of how work is going today using children’s tales:
“The sky is falling – the sky is falling!!”
Me: “Uhm, that’s just rain”
Crowd of people crying about the sky falling looks at each other, then disperses pretending they didn’t do what they just did…
…and I wish there was a fox to eat them.

“There’s a major problem over here – come help!” cried the business analyst.
I run to see what the issue is – to find there is none.
“Oops – I guess there’s no issue” is her reply.
“Look – don’t call me over here unless there IS a problem.”
A bit later “There’s a major problem over here – come help!” cried the business analyst again.
I go to see what the issue is – prepared to resolve it – to find there is none.
Again.
“Oops, sorry – I thought there might be an issue but there is none.”
“Serious,” I tell her, “don’t get me involved unless it is necessary as I don’t have time for this.”
“OMG – there is a HUGE issue – it’s going to keep us from going live – come fix it!!” she exclaims….again…
I ignore her – and wish there was a wolf….
….to eat her.
Yes….there is a theme…..I call it thinning the herd.
