Something in the Air

The past few days, I have felt like there is something in the air that is making people more needy at the same time making them more grouchy.  I wish I could just point a single direction, but I am starting to feel like I’m surrounded.

Then again, I am also a believer that if everyone around me is being grouchy, maybe it is me who is just seeing the situation wrong.
Nah….
Of course it can’t be me.

I am a believer that negativity is catchy. No matter how good you  might feel, a group of negative people can take you down in a hurry.  And I am far from Little Ms Sunshine, and I even feel the effects of it.

Work has been like that.

Outside of work has been like that.

It’s been kind of crazy.

I commented to a friend last night that I am 0-2 in terms of ending a good day on a good note.  So far, great has been followed by WTF.  I’m not a fan of the WTF ending.  WTF fucks with me.

So here are some things I’m trying to remember:

A good reminder when dealing with certain managers at work on my project.
Good for most situations with people I am close to. Sometimes getting through an issue can further the overall situation more than if the issue was never encountered.
If only some of these were that easy.
A way to kill people without worrying about jail time.
and at the end of the day, it is what it is. no point in wishing for something better and forgetting to live with what you have.

And because there are many people where this applies to – especially those who are feeling the same pain as I am right now:

Happy Wednesday!
