POD – Weekend in Seattle

I’ll write something more up about my weekend later. For now, a few of the photos I took.

Pike Street Market – an accidental shot that I liked. I was setting testing to see if my white balance was set correctly, so took a random shot without looking through the view finder. I like the angle.

Hubman asked yesterday if I was going to go the game (sort of a tongue in cheek question). This was as close to the Seahawks game as I got.  It was underway when this shot was taken.

My favorite shot of the day – straight out of the camera.
Enhanced via Lightroom – I wanted the sky more blue. And I added the vignetting on the edges. I normally would have just posted this one – but I liked them both for different reasons. Plus, I may start pulling back the curtain a bit on the before and after shots.
The Typewriter Eraser sculture in the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture park.  One of my favorites simply because it really shows how old people are if they know what it is without looking at the placard.
And finally – the other view out of my room – the one I would have had to stand right next to the ledge and at the right angle to see.  Yeah, no way that was going to happen – took someone else to point out that I did have a view of the water.

I love the pics. Seattle is a fav place of mine to visit. I love eating my way thru Pike Place Market. Great pics. I like the eraser too! I’m old enough to know what it is.

  2. Your favorite shot is beautiful. I love the reflection in the water.

I have to say though, the seagull picture is my personal favorite of these.

Your favourite picture is awesome! The reflection in the puddle is what makes it for me.

My fav is the happy accident… 🙂
But, of the two, the reflection one straight out of the camera appeals more to me.. :):)

I think the curb on the right side of the Pike St Market picture is about where we met the first time!

And I’m glad you realized my comment yesterday was tongue in check, if you didn’t I would be worried about you.
