POD – A Walk in the Park

Portland is like the land of 1000 parks within city limits. Okay, maybe not that many but green space in a city that is constantly redeveloping itself is always given a priority.  The pics are taken from two different parks – the main shots are taken in a downtown park filled with amazing ginkgo trees.

this pict was taken just so I could do this effect. a rare occasion where I saw the post-production as I shot the picture.
The sun broke making the sidewalk shiny.
And then, because I’m 12.
Some words should not be put on a phallic monument…..

  1. Beautiful!
    I love fall.
The bench shot should be framed and on a wall.

You know I love your photos.. But I agree with MR on the bench photo.. It’s gorgeous and should be framed.. :):)

Lovely pics! I am going to have to find the time and resources to visit!

  4. Wow great photos! Sadly fall here was a complete dud – a weird transition where some trees turned very early and then dropped very early, while some trees turned on time, and then some turned late. We never got the bright flaming fall this year, just bland early tree-death.

As always, the photos are gorgeous. And as a person who enjoys public parks, thanks for posting pics that show so beautifully why it’s important we have them.

    Best,
    Ivey
