This is from my new plant. My gorgeous purple clematis was accidentally removed during the great yard cleanup this spring. While I love this one, I do miss the old one.
I love clematis as well. It broke my heart when I had to move from my old house in my divorce and leave my 3 matures ones behind. And then again when we had to move in with my SO’s father during his illness, I had to leave behind two new ones that I had started. This Mother’s Day he gave me two new ones to replace the lost ones…it made me cry, it was so sweet.
I love clematis!! They look surreal, so vibrant and large!! The first time I saw a mature plant, they had to prove to me that it wasn’t fake!! :):):)
