I will be spending the weekend watching the first two seasons of The Guild. I admit it, I did some on-line gaming for a while. While I didn’t do World of Warcraft, the game I did play had the idea of guilds. Geeks are scary when they organize. I guess that’s why I find the show funny. Plus, it has lines like this: “When you have retarded cousin, he RIDES the short bus – you don’t let him DRIVE it!!” Or “What about these nips? These aren’t hams I’m carrying around!” Or “Damn, I’ve got smurf balls down there.” Or “You have the street smarts of a cartoon princess!”
After telling a friend about my afternoon with SG, his response was “You’re turning into such the bottom/sub queen…that’s never a bad thing.”
Garbanzo and his friend are staying at a hotel where everything is in miniature. It’s hilarious.
The girls and I are eating meat this weekend. They requested I cook meat for them. I find it funny because it’s not like we never eat meat. We just eat veggie most of the time.
I want to a tattoo. But, I can’t decide on one. Hmmm….
We got invited to another house party. And we can go. Woo-hoo!
I was included in an amazingly geeky exchange at work yesterday. While I laughed about it, I realized at the same time that I would never be able to share it because no one would understand it. Let’s just say it involved programming for drinking beer.
“Some people are like Slinkies – not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.” — I loved getting this quote in email from TL Thursday. It had been a long day – and I needed the laugh.
I have a cut on my lip. How did I get it? I cut it on the wrapper of a burrito I bought for lunch. I bled off and on throughout the afternoon. And now it looks bigger than it is.
Oh, and while people I know hate daylight savings time, I love the days getting longer. I love more sunlight into the afternoon and evening. It’s a reminder, to me, that the rain will soon stop, and summer will be here.
