Our friend Ms Panda and her mom gave Garbanzo this egg basket soon after he got his chickens. They had inherited from someone. The girls actually use it when gathering the eggs from our chickens. They only gather every other day given the weather and odd laying habits of the chickens this time of the year. Chickens need sunlight to lay eggs, so they lay less frequently during the winter. Oh, the fun things you learn as urban farmers.  So, yes, I guess we do tend to put all of our eggs in one basket.
