I read a pretty amazing article by Pico Iyer on the New York Times site a few days ago.
He speaks of his own life as well as his own observations of life:
“Though I knew that poverty certainly didn’t buy happiness, I wasn’t convinced that money did either.”
This is just one of the quotes from his article that stuck with me an hour after reading it.
The New York Times has a series in their blogs called Happy Days: The Pursuit of What Matters During Troubled Times. The blog is a series of article with reader responses. Take a gander at it. I doubt you will be disappointed.
