Day 13: Family

Once a month, there is a family dinner of sorts held at our house.  The rugby board meeting happens.  These guys are truly family to each other.  It’s interesting how much of a kinship they have all found.  And each meeting, I make a meal for them to share.  Tonight it was soup and homemade bread.  I never realized how impactful the meal was for them until a new member of the board mentioned to G that he heard how good the food was at our house.  “You all don’t really need to cook for us,” he said.  G’s response was simple, “there’s no reason we shouldn’t all share a meal given we are meeting at dinner time.” So very true.  Family takes care of each other.
