Photos: Blue Heron

We went to the bird sanctuary today since it was clear and bright and birdy.  And saw a shit load of blue heron. It was pretty cool.

You can’t get out of your car at this place, so some of the shot have to be taken at the angle you have. I liked how this turned out though.

 

And a snowy egret for good measure…

Photography lesson for today…..things will go better if you take off the filter you used at the beach.  Yeah, I realized it was contributing to some of my photo problems AFTER the shoot.  Oh well.

Oh and realization #2: I need my camera cleaned…..bad….as this shot can point out.
