While driving to and from Central Oregon to see my mom, I listened to an audio book where the author described Amy Poehle as the sweetest woman she had ever met.  When I saw this, I liked it.  It is something I can see her saying – in a caring way, with her arm around you.  All this based off of the description of her through someone else’s eyes.

Something I need to remember sometimes.

One of my favorite quotes from the show Psych.  Because it’s the truth, just because you put syrup on it, does not make it pancakes.  You could just be putting lipstick on a pig.

Not an easy thing to do – but maybe today is a day to try – focus on today. Focus on now.  Stop getting ahead of yourself or holding yourself behind.
