“I’m the hero of this story. I don’t need to be saved.”

Too often, we forget we are the main character in our own story. Don’t look for someone to save you – save yourself.  Be the hero in the story.  Don’t wait around waiting for someone to save you.

Wise people worry about making the right thing. Fools and fanatics just do it without thinking it through.  Be wise, not a fool.

It is easy to forget how much has changed when you feel little has day-after-day. Never forget to take stock as to how far you have come. Don’t look at last week. Look at where you were a year ago. Do you see a difference now?

For the stupid, they don’t think this is hard.  But making sure the bridge you are lighting on fire behind you is one you won’t wish you could cross again is hard.  Don’t light the bridge on fire without forethought.
