Photos: Randomness

love how the tree and sky are reflective in this building
I’m guessing this is the last weekend of the cherry blossom bloom. They were raining down on everyone enjoying them and the sun.
Near our train tracks in downtown are these signs warning cyclist that they could get their tires caught in the rails. The sign is definitely a sign of Portland.

The artist creates these images entirely of numbers. I was taking pics of the art when a woman working there said “this would be a cool pic”, grabbed the magnifying glass from another customer, and held it up for me.  Awesome idea.  And I bought the art.

Photo I took while sitting in the jeep letting it run so that the battery would recharge. Didn’t work. I now have a new battery and cables as even running and driving it was not recharging the battery. Let’s hope it was just a battery problem.  My dad was happy though – he got to ride in her.  He now has plans on finding the things he pointed out I’m missing.  The upside of having a father who has lots of experience in the military version of my jeep.
I know I’ve posted it before.  This graffiti despite the weather and years continues to read loud and clear. I guess some messages stand the test of time better than others. OR at least are messages people need to be reminded of frequently.

So the pic with the magnifying glass is awesome! I wish I could think that creatively….
