Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They’ll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them. — Dead on! I’m always known as the listener in my circle of friends. And I don’t let them see me as I am as much as I should. I sometimes feel in my regular circle that I’m the crude truck driver in a sea of sophisticates. It’s why I hide who I am with them.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don’t judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren’t necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people’s eyes. Very true. I don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I’ll pick it up and read a bit before deciding. How cliche.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person. My gut tells me about the person the moment I meet them. Very VERY rarely is my gut wrong. If only I would listen to it a bit more often where people are concerned. I am getting better though.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren’t interested in wasting time with people you don’t really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love. This is a true statement of how I am with relationships in general – romantic or otherwise. If I don’t like a person, I won’t waste my time. Mainly because I’m not a good faker at pretending to be interested, so it’s best to say “nice to meet you” and move along.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can. I do like to learn…makes me a good technology geek.
The right job for you:
You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life. As the breadwinner in our family, this has always been my approach. Not a huge risk taker here. I like steady, but interesting. That is the only thing missing from the list of requirements.
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don’t succeed. Don’t give up when you haven’t yet even started! Be courageous. Not me at all. I will go out on a limb in my career. I have more than once stepped into a role where I have zero experience and have had to figure it out as I went. I am, however, my own worst enemy as I will always think about the things I should have done differently as I go. I know – shocking.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It’s time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear. Not me either. I don’t worry too much about how others see me. I have no control over that. And at the end of the day, I have to be happy with who I see in the mirror. That’s my approach.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve. Very spot on. I am sometimes too mature and too honest and too intellectual in terms of solving problems where my heart is involved. Very difficult for me to let my heart solve it.
7 out of 9 were right on. Not bad really.
