I came out to the living room this morning and was met by a spider. It had created a web in the middle of the living room. While I watched, it spun it into existence with each walk around the middle. In the end, I actually gather it up with the spider inside and moved it outside. No need to kill the spider. They don’t bug me – and they help with the bug population in the yard. Just didn’t need for the girls to find it when they got home. Or else, they would have named her Charlotte and wait for her to spell something out for them.
Day 12 – Charlotte

So…she’s living in your living room or outside your door? Big difference in my book, lol. Outside ok…inside, not so much.
charlotte is beautiful!!
We’re also rescue our misguided bugs, lizards, et al. We relocate them to the yard with a stern reminder to “keep up the good work!” Nobody lives here who doesn’t contribute. 🙂
That is a great great shot…I need to pay closer attention to detail and little things.
I don’t like spiders but agree they are necessary to keep the bug population down. I only kill black widows in my garden.
Hopefully this spider would not have learned to speak and spell from you, or else she would have been spelling out some pretty inappropriate things and you would have had more explaining to do to the children 😉
What an amazing picture!!
How beautiful a spider can be when caught by the right photographer!
