The girls and I made marshmallows today. I’ve wanted to make them for a while, so figured it would be a fun rainy day activity for them. I saw this recipe, and decided I had to make them. I mean, an engineer re-wrote it to make it more fool proof. What could go wrong? Right?
Actually, nothing went wrong. My only mistake was having Indigo grease the pan which made it a bit stick – but it wasn’t a big deal. They are awesome though. Might have to make some more.

You know, you can buy marshmallows in the store. No sticky pans or anything!
I have no idea how marshmallows are made (yes, I could look at the link), and I don’t want to know! They’re just little globs of chemical engineering to me!
How many can you stuff in your mouth???
Very cool. 🙂 I don’t think I’d want to deal with the clean up, but it looks like a fun project.
So were they tastier than store bought?
It sounds easy enough. I may have to try it.
They look good…
So…. I consider myself a fairly diversified baker and I have never even heard of making your own marshmallows. I’m intrigued! How do they taste in comparison to store bought??? Same consistency???
Those were delicious!!!! What a great treat!!!
