Day 315 – SUN

In Portland, we had a rare event occur today given we are nearing the end of fall and start of winter.  We had sun. No rain, no clouds, just blue sky and sun.  Hell, we even got close to 60 degrees.

Indigo was at a friend’s house for sleep over.  And about noon, I threw DJ off the couch and away from the TV.  (She’s practicing to be a teenager already.)  I told her to outside and let the chickens run around the front yard.  Since they will be locked in their coop for the next several days, I thought they might enjoy the change of scenery.  Also, I thought they would enjoy the bugs – which they did.  They also did a great job getting all of the moss dug out of the yard.

While she did that, I took a few pictures.  Even though I have some chicken ones, I thought I would go more artsy….if you will.

  1. I was in Alaska a couple years back. Even in July, business shut down on sunny days so people could go out and have fun. Weird.

    Nice pics 🙂
