I am thankful today that I am able to spend it with family.  While I wish my parents were with us (instead of in Iowa getting ready for a funeral), I know they are where they should be.

I am thankful everyone is healthy this year.  I am thankful that everyone is still gainfully employeed.  I am thankful, as always, that we have a roof over our head and food on the table.

I’m thankful for my friends and their health, as well.  I’ve had a few deal with some serious health issues over the past year, so I’m thankful they have all passe.

Turkey day in our house will mean football, good food, and enjoyment of each others’ company.
