Accountability Monday

I hit the 10lb mark today!  Woo-hoo!!

I knew I was having a good week earlier in the week when I stepped on the bathroom scale.  I just hoped I would be able to continue it through the rest of the week.  I guess I did.  Overall, I feel great (except for the cold I have that won’t leave).  I have started noticing the belly is going away, and the Hubby has commented a couple of times that shirts I am wearing are almost too big now.  Good stuff!

Food-wise, I still feel like I’m finding a balance.  This week was riddled with possible ways I could have self-sabotaged.  But, I was able to avoid them without sacrificing anything.  Moderation has been the key – and reminding myself that if I eat a piece of Halloween candy, it means I have to trade it for a better food choice later.

    Good for you!

    I’ve been thinking of stealing your “accountability Monday” theme for myself. I lost ~20 lbs over the last 6 months but am heading towards the time of year when I (seemingly) inevitably gain 10 lbs, which I really want to avoid doing this year. I’m thinking the pressure of knowing maybe *someone* will notice from week to week will help 🙂

    Steal away! Congrats over the weight loss by the way.

    We are entering that horrible time of the year where carbs, sugar and overindulging is king. I’ve navigated this land mind before, but I know people watching and cheering with help me more. 🙂
